Disneyland’s Hidden Mickeys: A Field Guide to the Disneyland Resort’s Best-Kept Secrets

Quick delivery, item as described. Love the book, highly recommend it to anyone who visits regularly. Adds a whole new dimension to the magic!

This book contains good enough information, but for a “field guide” it is surprisingly cumbersome to carry around and leaf through. (A pocket-sized, spiral-bound book would have been a better design choice.) 99% of this info is available online, so next trip I will just create and print my own checklist for a family scavenger hunt.
Also, while the definition of a “Hidden Mickey” can be somewhat subjective, I personally don’t think the Mickey imprint on merchandise in a shop should count.

The book is a good idea but there really is way too much filler used to try and create a book. First you have the clue which tells you there is a hidden mickey in the area. Most people will not be able to find the HM with just this clue. The next part is a hint which tells you exactly where to look. I suggest you go straight for the hint. Many of the HM are, as the author called them, “wishful thinking”. For example, hint 38, “you are looking for an abstract Donald Duck….” Also many are in a dark, fast ride that you would have to ride many times to find the “tiny classic Mickey.” Having said all this the book is good start to giving you visit a little extra fun.

Only barely started using it. It’s fun though. It’s more about just knowing where they are, not about “finding” them. Hints aren’t good enough.

I purchased this book at the resort and I have loved the fun you can have with it. I have been to the disneyland resort numerous times since 1993 and I know alot about the history and this book took one of my favorite things to do(go to the park and ride rides)into a different level, If you dont cheat its a challange its even harder then the hidden mickeys arent there anymore. As we know the parks change all the time. But if you maybe are thinking what else is there to do or you want to challange your friends and family to alittle game while you are in the park, this is a great game to play. Good luck and buy this book. Happy 54 Disneyland
